ANSWER: As recorded in Acts 2:38 [KJV], “… repent, and be baptized… in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” As you are deeply convicted by the Spirit of the Lord, about areas of your life that need to change, accept a repentance heart and admit that you have been tolerating things that are unacceptable for a child of God. If you have been living far below what you know that is unacceptable unto the Lord and you see areas where you have fallen short of His glory in your thoughts and attitudes, and it has negatively affected your life, your relationships, and your conduct, start today and chose to repent unto the Lord.
Allow the Lord to give you the mind and strength to make a change in your life. Admit that you have been wrong to think the way you have been thinking, and have been wrong in the way you have behaved. Now that you are no longer ignorant because the Spirit of the Lord has spoken to your heart about these things, speak these words… since I am accountable for my attitudes and my actions, I am making the choice to repent and to change –– and I start today… in the Name of Jesus
